Galapagos Island Tour

$3,195.00

GALAPAGOS TOUR: SANTA CRUZ. ISABELA. SAN CRISTOBAL. QUITO.

On the this Galapagos Tour, we hop between the islands and base ourselves on the islands themselves opposed to staying on boats. Our Island Hop gives the traveller a sense of independence and freedom that isn’t possible when visiting by boat only. Of course you will take smaller boats for excursions to the further-flung areas of the National Park with local guides. This kind of trip can be easily customized depending on interest, and arranged for groups of 2-20 people. Contact us now and start planning your own Galapagos Island Tour!

The Galapagos are an archipelago of 12 large and several hundred smaller volcanic islands occupying a 4800 sq km area about 1000 km west of Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands have become one of the world’s premier adventure travel destinations. Over the course of your visit, you’ll enjoy up-close views of unusual, specially-adapted animals, plants and terrains including sea lions, tortoises, iguanas, land and sea birds, volcanic landscapes, unusual cacti and vegetation. Little has changed about the islands since Charles Darwin’s visit in 1835 to “this little world within itself” inspired his first theories of evolution. Nearly the entire archipelago is a natural sanctuary where you’ll have thrilling encounters with some of the world’s last completely untamed wildlife that has never learned to fear the presence of humans.

THIS TOUR IS AVAILABLE ON A CUSTOM BASIS AND CAN BE ARRANGED ANY TIME OF YEAR. CONTACT US FOR A QUOTE.

MURO DE LAS LAGRIMAS
“This site has historic importance. It is located on the far side of the beach following a trail that passes the abandoned airport. The trail starts at the beginning of the long beach, where is possible to see shore birds. It passes the cemetery and continues inland until the wall is reached. This wall was constructed by the prisoners of the penal colony that existed in Puerto Villamil from 1944 until 1954”. It was a place for punishment and created a lot of deaths due to the way it was constructed.
