Culinary & Beer Tour – Beyond Budapest

$3,595.00

A craft beer, spirits and food tour of Budapest and beyond!

Experience, taste and discover the beer and culinary traditions from Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia on this fabulous 11 day small group tour. Along the way we will experience vibrant cities, taste dozens of different beers, spirits and wines, experience an array of flavours, and meet the hospitable and passionate people who make all of this happen.

In Hungary, the culinary culture has many layers to discover—from the hearty home-cooking in the countryside and the Jewish kitchen, to the decadent baking traditions, and more recently, the contemporary Hungarian restaurants which are spicing up the dining scene in Budapest. There’s definitely lots more to Hungarian cuisine than paprika, and the excellent hand-crafted beers and wines are still under-appreciated outside of the country.

We meet with amazing local winemakers, brew masters and farmers trying fabulous home-cooking, local products, wines and brandies. Exploring the charming capital cities of Zagreb and Ljubljana, discover what and where the locals eat.

This tour is more than just a fabulous collection of beer and wine tastings. Each day  presents a special opportunity for guests to sit down, talk with and learn from a myriad of friendly local producers, wine makers and chefs in their cellars, houses, kitchens and vineyards.
