Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City
Welcome to Mexico City!
Mexico City Airport – Mexico City Private
Your driver will meet you at the airport at the time of your arrival and transfer you to your accommodation in Mexico City.
Mexico City – A high-octane megalopolis boasting old-school cantinas, intriguing museums, inspired dining and boating along ancient canals, Mexico City is the sun in the Mexican solar system. One of the world’s mega-cities, with over 25 million people occupying a shallow mountain bowl at over 2400m above sea level, Mexico City has to be seen to be believed. Bursting beyond the official federal district, the sprawling city is edgy, yet laid-back and cosmopolitan. Around the city lie the chief relics of the pre-Hispanic cultures of central Mexico.
The city is also a centre for art and design and offers an array of world-class museums, galleries and cultural centres that showcase its rich culture, like the Frida Kahlo Museum, the National Museum of Anthropology and the Palace of Fine Arts. The city’s creativity is also reflected in its culinary scene, and in its lively streets you’ll find fine dining restaurants alongside bustling street food markets.

Day 2: Coyoacan – Frida & Diego
Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera’s legacy private tour with tickets to three museums. Besides the huge artistic legacy, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera also left what they both had most in common, their love for their roots and culture. Enjoy a fascinating journey through the life and work of these great Mexican artists by visiting three museums located in Coyoacán, one of the most fascinating areas of the country.
Your first stop is the Blue House, the house where Frida Kahlo was born and died. In this place, you can feel the emotions that inspired her works, both joy and sadness, courage and suffering. Her belongings on display will help you better understand everything that she represented in her works and paintings throughout her life.
Next, visit a site that, under the great imagination of Diego Rivera, was transformed from a volcanic rock terrain into a museum. The Anahuacalli Museum houses some of Diego Rivera’s sketches for murals as well as part of his collection of pre-Hispanic works with about 2,000 figures and idols from different cultures and periods.
Finally, you will end up in a place where Frida and Diego used to live, and where most of their legacy remains present: the Dolores Olmedo Museum, home to a great compilation of Diego Rivera’s works and to the largest collection in the world of Frida Khalo’s paintings, as well as to more than 900 archaeological pieces from diverse cultures and historical periods.

Day 4: Visit to Teotihuacán
Teotihuacan pyramids and Shrine of Guadalupe private tour
Embark on a day trip to Teotihuacan, an ancient Mesoamerican city known for its impressive pyramids. The ruins reveal a city planned and built on a massive scale, the great pyramids so huge that before their refurbishment one would have passed them by as hills without a second look. At its height, this must have been the most imposing city in pre-Hispanic America, with a population thought to have been around 150,000 (though estimates vary), spread over an area of some 23 square kilometres (as opposed to the four square kilometres of the ceremonial centre). Back then, every building – grey hulks now – would have been covered in bright polychrome murals.
After a stop at Plaza de las Tres Culturas, the trip continues to Teotihuacan. Walk along the Avenue of the Dead, climb the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon and contemplate the impressive view of the site. See the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent, and the Butterfly-quetzal.
The Basilica of Guadalupe is the second most visited site by Catholics around the world. Visit the current basilica, a modern temple, and admire the other religious buildings of the Tepeyac complex: the old basilica, the chapel of El Cerrito, the chapel of El Pocito, and the former convent of the Capuchins.

Start your trip in the morning with a ride to Chapultepec along Paseo de la Reforma, one of the most famous avenues in Mexico City with beautiful trees and statues alongside, resembling France’s Champs Elysées.
Upon arrival at Chapultepec Park, climb up the hill and head to Chapultepec Castle, one of the main symbols of Mexico that carefully preserves its heritage from different significant historical periods, the Conquest, the Empire, the Independence, and the Revolution. A visit to this castle is like going back in times when it served as the official residence of viceroys, emperor Maximilian of Habsburg, and several Mexican presidents.
After the castle, you’ll visit the National Anthropology Museum, the largest and most visited museum in Mexico with an astonishing collection of pre-Hispanic artifacts. Learn about the origins of the advanced thousand-year-old Mesoamerican cultures and their valuable heritage in the country.
