DAY 1: WELCOME TO AMMAN, JORDAN

Welcome to Jordan! Meet and assist at Queen Alia International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Amman.

DAY 2: AMMAN CITY TOUR + COOKING CLASS

Start your visit to Jordan with a tour of the old city of Amman exploring the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two of the most popular archaeological sites in the city, and the Jordan Folklore Museum.

Afterward visit one of Amman’s oldest neighbourhoods, Jabal al-Weibdeh, passing by several art galleries, like Darat Al-Funun and Dar Al-Anda, museums, and local antiquities and handicraft shops. Then you will have a cooking experience at Beit Sitti (House of my grandmother), learn how to cook Arabic food, and enjoy your creation. In the evening we introduce you to another side of Jordan by setting up a wine tasting session.

DAY 3: JERASH – AJLOUN

Depart from your hotel in Amman. Head north to walk through history in Jerash, regarded as one of the most important and best preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. Drive to Ajloun and visit the castle, dominating the Ajloun skyline and was built to ward off the Crusader armies at the key trade and pilgrimage intersection between Jerusalem, Cairo, Damascus, and Mecca.

Then visit a local home and savour an amazing Jordanian meal. Back to Amman to spend the night.

DAY 4: AS-SALT + FEYNAN ECOLODGE

After breakfast head out of your hotel to As-Salt to explore a city that was built on very hilly terrain. The center of town lies in the middle of a deep valley and the town spreads up the surrounding hills. Visit Abu Jaber and As-Salt Museums among many more interesting stops. Then proceed to Feynan Ecolodge to spend the night.

Every evening, a guided sunset walk leads from the lodge on a short walk (around 20-30 min) up to a nearby hilltop, for freshly brewed Bedouin tea and stunning views westwards as the sun sets over the vast Wadi Araba deserts. The sunset walk is well worth the visit!

DAY 5: FEYNAN LOCAL EXPERIENCE + PETRA KITCHEN

After breakfast, you can stay at your Ecolodge where multiple activities are arranged, offering you the chance to engage with the locals, whether it be a walk you can join or have a coffee with them, or even cook an authentic vegetarian meal!

Later on this day you will drive to Petra. At 6:00 pm you will have a cooking class where you will be guided through how to prepare a traditional Jordanian meal, from dips and appetizer’s to a main course and dessert. Then sit and enjoy the meal you have made.

DAY 6: PETRA VISIT

After breakfast, we head to visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 World Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through a 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked on either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colours and formations of the rocks. The site is massive and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars, and colonnaded streets.

DAY 7: WADI RUM – JEEP TOUR

In the morning after breakfast, drive from your hotel in Petra and head south to Wadi Rum, where you will take a full day jeep tour with lunch, the jeep tour will allow you to travel around Wadi Rum’s valleys, canyons, dunes, and deserts discover rock inscriptions, majestic views of mountains and landscapes and narrow gorges.

At each stop, you have the opportunity to hike and scramble and explore in your own time. Then you will drive back to your camp; enjoy the delicious Bedouin dinner, the stars, and the night in the desert.

DAY 8: BOAT RIDE – AQABA

After breakfast, you will drive south to Jordan’s window to the Red Sea. Aqaba brings a refreshing variation to the sands of Wadi Rum and Petra. On this day you will have the Yasmeina Boat ride. The diving and snorkelling boat Yasmeina visits several beautiful diving places. The ride will give you the opportunity to see the fascinating view of the underwater world. Passengers are treated on the boat with grilled lunch and salads, mineral water, and tea. During the breaks between snorkelling and swimming, you can sunbathe and relax on the boat’s sun deck. The boat ride starts at 10 am at the Royal Yacht Club and returns back around 3 pm.

DAY 9: SAFI CRAFTS + DEAD SEA

Leave Aqaba and head to the Ghour Al Safi, where you will visit the Safi Crafts, the women of the Safi Crafts create innovative textile crafts using natural dyes and imagery inspired by the local life and heritage. Later on this day you will be transferred to the lowest elevation on earth to float and relax at the Dead Sea.

DAY 10: MADABA – MT. NEBO

Depart from your hotel at the Dead Sea and drive to Madaba. Explore the town of Madaba and discover the amazing Byzantine mosaics excavated from throughout the town. See the Madaba Map, the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Lands. Drive to Mount Nebo and wonder at the view where Moses looked across to the Promised Land and later died and was buried. Journey back through Jesus life and visit the site where he was baptized. Supported by many biblical, archeological, and historical evidence, Bethany Beyond the Jordan was recognized as the authentic site of Jesus’ baptism. Enjoy your evening and night at the Dead Sea.

DAY 11: DEPARTURE DAY

Enjoy your morning relaxing, floating in the salt waters, or resting by the pool. You can always pamper yourself with your chosen spa treatment!

Our driver will pick you up and drive you to Queen Alia International Airport to catch your departure flight.
