COOKING WORKSHOP PUGLIA

WITH EVERYONE AT THE TABLE

Small-Group Tour

Join Julie Marr & Francesco Creanza of Everyone at the Table, in 2024 to cook, eat, learn and share in Puglia on this culinary workshop.

They will be hosting Cooking Puglia and Preserving Puglia this summer and they would love to have you join them! All of their workshops focus on exploring the food culture and history of Southern Italy and celebrating the importance of shared meals around the table which acts as the daily heartbeat of life in our region. More than a workshop, they aspire to share with you their way of life.

In addition to the many culinary adventures, we will also shop the local markets, swim in the sea, picnic in olive groves, explore nearby historical towns, taste local wines, and share long table dinners under the stars all the while meeting new friends from around the world.

Located in southern Italy, Puglia is renowned for its stunning landscapes and local produce. During the culinary workshop, we will search out the freshest seasonal ingredients at local markets and visit the shops of artisanal bakers, butchers, and cheesemongers in nearby towns and villages. Puglia is a food lover’s paradise and we look forward to making the most of our delicious daily discoveries! Come and explore with E.A.T and experience the many epicurean delights that this unexplored region has to offer.

COOKING PUGLIA

4 DAY CULINARY WORKSHOP

Puglia Cooking Workshop

Honouring a culture and a way of life one recipe at a time…

This 4-day cooking workshop in Puglia is for those people who want to roll up their sleeves and have a hands-on learning experience, making all the traditional foods that Puglia is famous for.

Mornings will be spent in the Oria kitchen mastering the art of orecchiette pasta making, natural levain breadmaking, taralli, cheese making, preserving sotto olio vegetables, wild herbs liquors, jams, and sweets. We will enjoy long table lunches featuring the fruits of our labours, paired with local wines.

Afternoons will be spent visiting the Ionian sea, exploring nearby towns, shopping local markets, and al fresco dinners and olive oil tastings at our own tiny olive grove.

We hope that this will be an opportunity to take a brief respite from the daily routine and experience an inspiring, beautiful and delicious way of life.

We are Julie Marr and Francesco Creanza and we met in Puglia in 2014. Since then we have shared our passion for cooking and history by hosting workshops in Southern Italy, France, and Vancouver, Canada.
Everyone at the Table (E.A.T.) embodies our philosophy of sharing time, food, and stories around a table where everyone is welcome.
We recently purchased an apartment as well as a small parcel of land with 35 olive trees, fig, pear, pomegranate, and almond trees in Oria, in the Salento region of Puglia. It is here that we hope to continue sharing our love of traditional food culture with all who pull up a chair to our table.
