Established in 1990, the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) serves over 1000 members in over 100 countries worldwide. Members predominantly include tour operators, tourism boards, specialty agents, and accommodations with a vested interest in the sustainable development of adventure tourism. The ATTA delivers solutions and connections that propel members towards their business goals and the industry toward a responsible and profitable future.
The travel and tourism industry is the world’s largest commercial service sectors, employing 1 in every 11 people on Earth (as of 2015). As such, the industry has a significant impact on the economic well being of people and the environment. With a long list of successful exhibits that span 20 years and collectors worldwide, Laura’s paintings are described as beautifully imperfect. Often large in scale with strikingly bold colours and texture, each piece offers discovery. Laura’s process is rooted in memory and imagination, and her emotions are palpable.
Together with Laura, we’ve hosted international workshops in Mexico and Italy along wit a couple of local workshops as well. Together we are always planning our next Beautifully Imperfect Painting Retreat somewhere around the globe.

MARCUS DYCK – Having had the fortunate opportunity to travel the world since an early age, I’ve experienced some of the most breathtaking destinations, cultural diversities and natural wonders this world has to offer.
Photography has played a significant role in my sojourn, capturing the essence of the people, their land, and the wildlife that share it.
Travel and exploring is in my blood. My mother grew up in Africa, which is why I have felt a personal connection to this land for many years. Over the past 10 years, my goal has been to create unforgettable small group adventure tours in Africa and to share those experiences with fellow explorers. The Worldly Girlies have partnered with our friends at Cedar Path Expeditions. They are dedicated to crafting transformative backpacking expeditions that cultivate deep connections, foster mindfulness and explore wild places. Rooted in a counter-cultural ethos, we advocate for a restful culture and offer an antidote to burnout. We aim to create mindful, adventurous and enriching experiences that span the globe, transform people’s lives and work towards healing the earth.
